Default where can I find an engine for a Toyota Camry really cheap/?
My BF's car engine blew up(don't know why) he's looking for an engine to buy his car is a 1999 Toyota Camry 4 doors he's looked places they asked him up to $2600 for an engine & the junk yard asked him $1800 but he wanted to pay cheaper where can he find something cheaper around the MA area or even in NH?

I would use Ebaymotors.com i saw toyoya engines with tranny for cheap for example an engine to my 08 yaris with manual transmission and 10k miles runs for about $400

E-BAY?? I have heard you can get really great deals on rebuilt motors!! I own two Toyota Previa mini vans, and I am told I could get rebuilds on EBAY for about $800!! YOU MIGHT CHECK IT OUT!!!

Has he considered a low mileage, used Japanese imported engine? I don't know if he has the 4 cylinder or a 6 cylinder engine but they are a good way to go. These engines generally have between 40-60,000 miles on them. They are tested and come with a 6 month warranty at most places. Below is a link to one. It should be around $1500 to replace it (maybe even less depending on what the shop wants to charge in labor). Anyway here you go:

BTW, there are many distributors throughout the country that do this so if you do a search for used japanese engines in your area, you might find a shop that is selling the engine for less.
