Default Is it worth having AAA on my 2009 Corolla S?
Had it for one year already, didn't use it at all. It's a nice "peace of mind' alternative, but my car's brand new. Would you have it on your brand new car, and what are your justifications for doing so?

Of course it is... discounts on hotels, and other things. However, no car is perfect, and things do happen.

Here's a better question: Is it ever worth it to NOT have it?































When you break down and don't have AAA, is it cheaper than if you did? No.































When you need towing and don't have it, is it worth it? No.































Etc.

Have you ever gone behind the dealership and notice new cars on the lift. New cars do break down.

Did you forget about flat tires. I have only had AAA tow a car I owned once. All the other times have been flat tires. I once hit a pot hole on an interstate. Not a bad hole, but rebar was exposed so on Christmas day, I am sitting with a torn up tire on the side of the interstate. My car was only about 2 years old. Thank god for AAA.
