Default Help replacing my engine in my 98 corolla?
I need to replace my engine in my 98 corolla, fwd. What specialized tools (besides engine hoist) do i need to complete the job? i am pretty good at following instructions when they are available, but do i need to rent or borrow anything that i probably wouldnt have as a non-mechanic? and how long of a job is it?

first thing you will need is a manual go get one from auto zone

Drain pan, Jack stands, all the necessary tools, a new engine,































Overall you're looking at a 2 day ordeal that'll take about 10-12 hours.
