Toyota Recall Problem?

I drive a 2001 Camry, I had the problem with the accelerator pedal last year, and took it to the toyota dealer. They told me they fixed the problem, but it's happening again, occasionally.

Has anyone else has this problem with their toyota before the recall?

Should I take it back to the dealer to see if they can fix it again!?

the problem with accelerator pedal is the same as toyota described in their notice, it's hard to depress, slow to return or is not smooth during operation, or even stuck at some point that I can't push it down.

All that AND you are smart enough to have survived each occurance. Nine years may be out of warranty, but get someone higher up in toyota to work out this problem if your local service is reluctant to fix this. Perhaps paying for a pedal repair won't be so expensive and certainly worth it - you cannot bet your life against a warranty.
