If purchased in a state that follows California's emissions regulations, it has a full (not pro-rated) warranty of 150,000 miles or 10 years, whichever comes first.
That's the WARRANTY.
That does NOT mean that it will immediately fail at 151,000 miles or 11 years, no more than any other car's transmission (or other major components) will fail the instant the warranty expires.
Not enough Prius batteries have failed yet to be able to give a conclusive longevity estimate.
