Open the driver door. There should be a label somewhere inside of the door edge indicating the assembly plant.

it should say on the driver's side door or in the trunk where the car was manufactured































also the first number in the VIN number will tell you what nation the vehicle was manufactured. cars built in Japan are assigned a J in the first digit. But cars made in the U.S. can have a 1, 4 or 5

Do you have the window sticker? It tells the final place of assembly on the bottom.































Also, you can look at your particular model's page on Wikipedia and discover where it is made. You'd be surprised how many are made in the US and Canada.

Look at your VIN number on the dash. If the first character is a "J" it was made in Japan















if it is a "1" or a "5" it was made in the USA, if it is a "2" it was made in Canada
