Default If my budget is $ 10,000, how much should I expect to pay for a used Toyota hatchback like...
...the Matrix ? WHAT TOYOTA SHOULD I AVOID PURCHASING ? I heard some late models have serious problems. Is it possible to purchase a Honda Fit under $ 10,000 ? How do I know what is a good price for a Toyota Matrix with less than 100,000 kms ? Any other suggestions on hatchbacks under $ 10,000 that are a really good deal these days ?

i wouldn't get any toyota hatchback for more than 5,000 but i suppose im ? not $

You could get a new Hyundai Accent for $10.000 (plus taxes etc.) . Why not look at Hyundai it's a much better value?

ALL Toyota's are included in the recall...even the matrix































your best bet to get a car under $10 grand..are...































Hyundai Accent















Kia Rio















Nissan Versa















Chevy Aveo ***(not sure, internet says over 11 grand)































NO TO HONDA FIT, thats over 14 grand































The Hyundai and Kia are soo boring, The Chevy rides too hard, Nissan would be your best bet here....































Your not gonna get much of a car for 10 grand, if I were you I would at least save for $15 grand or higher.....

I doubt you'll get a Fit for under $10K unless it's a salvage. A 2003-2004 Matrix should be around $10K or less. Toyotas with the claimed issues seem to be predominately 2007 and newer models. I was told that some mid 2000s models had issues but I have never met anyone who has had issues with those. Suzuki Aerios can be had for that as well and they are prettyy dependable from what I hear. However, Suzuki dealers aren't very abundant and resale values are low.
