Maybe. What make and year car? Besides the issue of whether it will easily bolt up there is also the matter of gearing. Sometimes the four has higher gear ratios to compensate for less power. If that's the case then you won't be taking full advantage of the extra power of the six which is why I assume you're considering the change. There might also be an issue with the front suspension depending on how big a weight difference there is.

Yes, along with a new wiring harness and ECU. Bad idea hey? Sell it and buy a 6 cylinder vehicle it will be much easier and save you all sorts of money.
