red light flashing on my toyota yaris 2010?

Default red light flashing on my toyota yaris 2010?
there's a red light flashing just beside the hood release lever of my 2010 toyota yaris, I wonder what it is ? Can anybody help me w/ this one. I have the car scheduled for inspection anyway but but a foreknowledge about it would take away the worries. Thanks

That should be explained in the owner's manual, which is kind of thick and intimidating. I would expect the warranty to take care of whatever the problem is, but there is some comfort in knowing.

do you have a kill switch?or a remote starter?thats all it is,some install it under the mirror ,and some next to the steering wheel,it can be put anywhere,nothing wrong with the car
