Is the Toyota Celica a Good car for my 16 year old son?

Okay so i want my son to have a good car when he turns 16 and i was wanting to know if the 2002 celica would be a good car for him?

Great car, may want to price insurance first. Celica will probably substantially more than a Corolla or similar model.

If you get him a Celica then he will probably be happier than he's ever been before, an I will be jealous. It's the perfect car for a teenager, being 16 you do know he's going to floor it whenever your not looking (being a 17 year old boy who has friends I know this) , which is why a Celica is perfect. It's a Toyota so the engine it virtually indestructible and the cost to run and repair are low, and they look like the kind of car you could really race with, like some $200,000 European sports car on a budget, and here's the best part, they aren't really a very powerful car but they corner like a dream, so he can have the fun of driving fast without even going over the speed limit. So it would probably be the perfect car for him and one of the best options there are for you.

no cuz the celica is discontinued so its hard to but parts but the corola s is good

Yes---probably and excellent one. Gets great gas mileage---its 7 yrs old so when it gets a few dings no one will get upset. Small enough to handle in tight spots---enough (not too much) zip to get down the road--You made a good choice
