How much should I negotiate down for a Tacoma.?

Default How much should I negotiate down for a Tacoma.?
This is my first new car and I want a Toyota Tacoma Regular Cab, Automatic trans. The MSRP is 16,000 plus 700 in fees and BS charges. Was wondering what some people out there paid for theirs and what I should negotiate for. I'm paying with cash.

Since it is a new car they're not ganna have that much lee-way. I would go 1-2k lower.































If it was a used car a good estimate is 15%-30% off what they're asking for.....































But i doubt they'd sell u the new Tacoma for 13k... lol.

lucky i wish i got a new one but i got a 2002 toyota tacoma and i love it its the best truck ever! i bought mine from a person that we know and i got it for 3 grand when the one i have is worth 7 grand so it will last me a while and when i wanna sell it i will be ahead money but tacomas are expensive but they DO last forever if you keep up with them..so good luck

According to Edmunds, the invoice for a base Tacoma with auto is about 15K:

Average buying price shows at 16,100 (after delivery etc), but that's the average, you can do better. Start from invoice and work up, don't go from MSRP down as they would have you do. $15,500 maybe - you'll do well to stay in that range, paying cash will help you since you don't have to worry about approval, etc.
