The amount of air to put in the tires should be listed on a sticker inside the glove box, or on the driver side door jam, or in the owners manual.
The PSI listed on the tire is the not the recommended amount for yor car, but rather the maximum amount the tire can handle. Don't just go by this value Buy a good quality digital air gage (they are cheap) and us it. Always fill the air with the tire 'cold'- not driven much before filling up.
I've seen people try to eye ball how much air they need and put in 70PSI in a 32 PSI tire. Very dangerous and could explode at highway speeds. Don't screw around with tires and brakes.
