Intake (Kand N makes a good street air filter) and exhaust (I like the sound of a cat back flowmaster on Toyotas)















You canb do a chip or reprogram of the computer















Power pullies on the engine















Turbo or supercharger















Nitrous Oxide system

Your basic bolt ons would be the intake, full exhaust, pulley kit, port/polish the heads, spark plugs/wires, ecu tune, short shifter, aluminum flywheel/clutch.. these are just a few modifications you can do without breaking the bank, but to achieve greater power a turbo, sds(supercharge drive system), nitrous, or engine swap would be needed. Also consider shaving more weight, those cars are notorious for having one of the lightest chassis/body an any more improvements will be useful along with the engine modifications.
