ballpark fiqures are ok installing an ECM means resetting the ECM too thanks everyone who answers!

300 to 2000...used private garage,,,new at dealer















should be under warrenty















also almos never go wrong,,did you have it reset? why do u think its bad...i think 100 things would go bad before that would

That ECM is covered for 8 years and 80,000 miles. The answer to your question is it takes about 15 minutes, and the ECM is about $1500 on Toyodiy.com. It has to have the VIN programmed to the ECM, which has to be done by the dealer, but the rest is automatic. There are some conditions that currently require the replacement of the unit, but that should all be covered, and should be done by the dealer.
