How much would a tune up be for a 98 Camry XLE V6?

I have a 98 camry xle v6. The car runs great, but I feel some performance is missing. Also, something that worries me is that when I turn on the car, in the mornings, lots of smoke comes out.(sometimes, not always) My friend thinks its carbon build up in the spark plugs. Im 17, I do know about cars, but there's only so much I know. Can anyone tell me what they reccomend I do? I was looking at either doing a tune up at Pep Boys(how much is it by the way) or an engine flush at EZ Lube, I read the description and it says it gets rid of sludge and restores performance. I want to do the best thing to correct that smoke problem and maximize power and efficiency. Can anyone tell me whats best between these two?

I would not do the Engine Flush, you need to know first if the smoke is only at clod start and what color, white may be condensation and normal, blue or Grey may be oil due to leaking valve guide seals.

That will not be fixed by plugs or the flush.

Check your oil and make sure you are not loosing any, if so you may be burning it through the valve guides, when the warm up they will stop leaking that is why you only see it on cold starts.

The price on a tune up will be if you do it your self will be close to $50 for the plugs and new air filter.
