Yes, I say do buy a Toyota. Before the recall, not scandall, they sold the best cars in america, so after the minor problem was fixed, they are still the best cars out there.
Remember, all automakers have recalls, such as Ford, people still bought them after they had their exploding tires replaced back in the 90's. And they still have a problem with cruise controls catching on fire. lol
And all car makes have sales, if they sale were to be in a month after the media feeding frenzy calmed down, it would still be blamed on the recall, just becaust it is an overseas company that makes their cars here. Nobody blames domestics for lowering prices during a recall......
all in all, get a toyota, you will not be sorry you did.
