How do I get a replacement spare tire for a 2003 Toyota Matrix?
My local dealer will sell me a wheel for $100 but couldn't figure out what size donut tire I need. Is there a way to find one from a junk dealer or is there an online site for used parts? I'm clueless as to where to start looking.
That all depends where you live if its canada or the states etc? If you go to a u pick auto wreckers they might be cheaper and most wreckers take most of the good rims and tires off of the vehicles that come into their yards but many leave things like spares on the vehicles too.
Hope that helps and best of luck.By the way a wreckers would charge anywhere from 20 to 50 bucks or so for one of those.
I would go to a salvage yard. If anybody sells new doughnut spares, a tire shop would tell you. Callthem. Goodyear, goodrich, firestone, michelin, pirelli, Tire Rack, America's Tire- can you think of any more? They have web sites too.
