How much to install a turbo on a 2000 Toyota Celica GTS?

Kinda just a rough ballpark for my own information if anyone could help. Probably a huge range of prices for such a cheap car but i just want to get a general idea

well, a turbo kit is alot more than just a turbo kit.































you will need the turbo kit, which should come with the turbo, turbo manifold, downpipe, intorcoller and piping, Blow Off Valve, wastegate (if externally wastegated) oil lines fot the turbo, water lines if needed and a boost controller.































that is just to support the turbo's air.































you will then need to only run about 7psi of boost on the stock engine. the 2zz can take more, but 7 is a good round number for a street tune.































to support the rest of the engine, you will need bigger fuel injectors, possibly a bigger pump, and something to tune with, such as an SAFC NEO or and Emanage (piggybacks) or a full standalone system































turbo is alot more work than just a turbo.

the cheapest kit is about 3000 from turbokits.com. the better kit is from monkeywrenchracing.com but thats about 4500 with out fuel system upgrades or ecu upgrades. those are just for the kits if you can install it you will save a few hundred bucks. then u will need to get it tuned a shop close to me charges about 100 bucks a hour to do tuning. your probably looking at 5000 plus when all is done.
