Please help me decide. I'm not sure whether to choose a 07 Toyota Corolla (LE) or an 05 Acura RSX.?

Both are great cars. They both have low mileage. They are both within my price range, and I've checked the carfax reports for both cars and everything checks out. So far everything seems to be in order but I really honestly don't know which bw the two I should choose. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I would check and see how much the preventive maintenance is going to cost. i think that the Acura is going to cost more to maintain for no other reason than they can get away with charging more.

The Corolla is more "sensible" and utilitarian with 4 doors. the Acura is more sporty and has more power and probably (?) more fun to drive - if you like to "drive sporty". Realize that the RSX is discontinued in the US - so probably resale value should be somewhat less than the Toyota. the RSX continues to be sold in other countries under different names. You don't say if the Acura is a "Type S". if it is you should grab it. They have wonderful engines! However, you should carefully check the Acura to make sure it is not abused. by its nature it attracted young tuner/racer wannabees who many times "whipped" the cars pretty badly.

I have had 2 corollas so far, and when my new one dies, I will probably get another one. Toyotas are very dependable cars. My 1993 Toyota Corolla got 30mpg and lasted until 230,000 miles! My current one, a 2003, has 99,000 miles on it, and gets 33 mpg city. However, make sure you get oil changes on time!

the toyota will probably be less expensive overall, insurance, gas, maintenance etc...
