P0466 code on 1999 Camry with 110k miles?

Any idea about what this is and how much it cost? Mechanic said he has to replace purge canister assembly and it costs $480. Does it really cost that much?

Code P0401 is also coming up, but since he has worked on it (replaced EGR valve and vaccume valve) now he wants to work on purge canister.

Please help.

was this at a dealer doesnt sound like it check the plastic lines that come out of the canister under the right side rear bumper big black box lines comming out follow all of them see if any lines are cracked or pinched do not replace sounds like he is just taking a guess what wrong if it is dealer doing the work once they diag the problem that should fix the problem if they say its something elese thats on them called a comeback also check the fuel cap o-ring if they leak any air it will set a code replace that first might seem tight but it will leak
