What motor and Trans will fit in a 99 toyota corolla?

Default What motor and Trans will fit in a 99 toyota corolla?
I have a 1.8l now with a rod knocking and a spun bearing. i want to put another motor in it but maybe something with a bit more power.

the 2zz might fit from a celica, not sure tho. its got a 180 hp. other wise the best way would be to get a engine from a salvage yard to replace yours if you need the car running quickly. with the swap you will need the 2zz wire harness, computer, and all the thing to get it to run correctly in the corolla.
