A few hundred for a used one at a salvage yard. Pays ya money, takes ya chances. Few thousand for a new one. Then you need to get somebody to install it. Tat may be 6-8 hours labor.

maybe 500 bucks then service will be more, you better off buying a new one

400 probably out of a junk car though not new you want 0 miles about 3000 or more

The parts department of your local Toyota dealers sell rebuilt Japanese engines but sorry I don't know the actual engine price(my guess is $3000) plus labor to install that should come with warranty. An engine is pretty heavy, but FYI there are several Toyota dealers on-line (I recommend 2 in Texas; Toyota of Dallas and Toyota of Richardson TX that I have done business buying expensive parts when the repair is not urgent bec my mechanic lets me bring him the Toyota parts but he doesn't give warranty if it fails). Both have complete parts catalog for all Toyota models with blowup schematics and the price is also good like 30% off MSRP plus UPS S&H in comparison to the 15% and sometimes 20% I get from local Toyota dealers with every now and then dealer coupons.
