Default I have found a 2009 Toyota Camry with 30,000 miles on it, should I consider an extended warranty?
The present warranty is 3 years or 36,000 miles. This is a rental car and purchasing at locale GMC dealer. They purchased the car at auction.

Buy new even if it is a lesser car like corolla or civic. Rental cars get beat on. But generally a camry won't require an extended warranty. They are reliable cars and you are basically betting that one of the most reliable cars on the road is going to break down.

Far too many miles for a 2009. The average yearly driven in the United States is between 12,000 and 15,000 per year. And rental cars, it is true get BEAT hard. Particularly if they have been beat for 30,000 miles in a period of just months. Buy a new one if you can, even if it's not a Camry.

i agree that Rental cars get beat on. But generally a camry won't require an extended warranty. They are reliable cars and you are basically betting that one of the most reliable cars on the road is going to break down.































it is a tough machine i got 2005 camry model driven 150,000 miles n it is still smooth n se*y .... just check the condition of the vehicle if you like it, take it ( unless deal is worth buying ) rest upto your own satisfaction.
