Get a Tacoma without all the rust between the cabin and the hauling bed, because those are the ones that have been cracking in two parts while driving them on the highway. I'd say the ones that don't rot apart are pretty good because they don't over accelerate, steer poorly, stall, or tip over while driving, but their drive shafts HAVE been cracking in two parts and falling off while driving also, from poor quality alloy metals. But on a toyota, if all you have to worry about is the vehicle cracking in half, or the drive shafts falling off, well, then I'd say go for it! It's one of their better vehicles.
