Default Will a 1993 Toyota Corolla automatic transmission fit in a 1990 model?
I have a 1990 Corolla that went out on me. I'm trying to find an automatic transmission to fit into it. Will a 93 fit into the car? It's a DX/

as long as it is the same engine then ok gear ratio problem if not the same engine since the corolla has two engines a 1.6 and a 1.8 only other thing to check would be the axles but i think they are the same its been awhile since i've seen something that early for awhile

First things first.. 5 automatic trannys which one is it?































A.T., Sdn & SW, AWD































A.T., Cpe, 3 spd (15 pan bolts)































A.T., Sdn & SW, FWD, 3 spd (15 pan bolts)































A.T., Cpe, 4 spd (18 pan bolts)































A.T., Sdn & SW, FWD, 4 spd (18 pan bolts)































Car part.com list '88-'93 compatible

Does the 90 or 93 have an electronically controlled tranny?































If the 93 has an electronic tranny.. and the 90 does not.. how will you get it to work right?































Some electronic trannies desperately need the electronic bs to function right.
