Default Questions on 22r motor?
i got a 22r and its getting slower like im loseing power what can i do to regain power out of my 22r if you know what your talking about you should know wat a 22r is and comes from

You are loosing compression. Have a compression test done. Options are oversized pistons, over sized rings, cylinder bore and inserts put in. Also, it may be just valves and/or valve seats. Toyota 22R was a good engine as was the 20R

if u can actually notice the acceleration going in your 22r than its prob not compression. i noticed the same thing and u would be surprised what some new plugs wires and a rotar cap can do. especially for gas mileage. dont be afraid to change the fuel filter also.
