I have a 100 series turbo diesel Land Cruiser,Automatic?

Default I have a 100 series turbo diesel Land Cruiser,Automatic?
It is shuddering under load and it has difficulty dropping down from overdrive.Something similar happened last year and the torque converter had to be replaced,but it the shuddering occurs more readily this time
