Default What performance parts can I put in a 2008 Toyota Camry SE that are legal in California?
Im going to be getting my license in a couple of days and im wanting to become a street racer so I was wondering what types of performance parts can I put in a 2008 Toyota Camry SE which would give a lot of horsepower and help me save gas because I am going to be getting a V6. Also if you could tell me the specific brands of each part and how much. And will it make my car a little louder but not too much because im not trying to be receiving tickets for driving to school and back home for disturbing the peace because I live in California. And if you could tell me only the things that are legal in California.

try calling the epa and asking. or putting on a aftermarket airbox. and powerchip.

Street-racing in a Camry? LOL. That's like hunting bear with a BB gun. And, if you're busted for street-racing in CA, you can wave "bye-bye" to your car and driver's license until 21. If you injure someone, straight to jail.































There is pretty much nothing you can put on your motor, other than cosmetic stuff, that won't make it illegal in the eyes of law enforcement, smog techs or road-side testers. As mentioned previously, a chip might help some, but you really won't notice much difference in that vehicle.
