How do you turn off the clock in a 1988 Toyota Camry?

Default How do you turn off the clock in a 1988 Toyota Camry?
I just bought a 1988 Camry and the clock was off, but shortly after I started driving it I realized that the clock on the dash wont turn off. So now I am having to jump off my car nearly everyday to get it to crank because the clock stays on all day everyday. Help

The clock SHOULD stay on every day. It's designed to. It should NOT be draining your battery. I suspect you have a different problem.

The clock does not draw enough to drain your battery.
