2001 Toyota Tundra heater blows cold air?

Default 2001 Toyota Tundra heater blows cold air?
the heater on my Tundra blows cold air even when at operating temperature. I live in the mountains, and the air is FRIGGIN FREEZING, is there a common problem that someone knows a solution too?















coolant level is fine both in radiator, and reservoir.















and this was a one day it worked next day it didnt. atypical of heater core















After climbing under the dash for about 10 minutes I discovered the temperature selector cable had become unclamped from the vent valve. once reconnected it allowed the valve to open and released the hot air into the cab. thx for your answers

Sounds like you're low on coolant or your heater core could be clogged. Check your coolant first. Just refilling it will make the heater work. If not, I'm thinking heater core.

I have seen that if you get a air bubble in teh heater core.















When the motor is cold take off the radiator cap, start the truck and let it run till it gets hot and see if you get any ait bubbles comming out of the radiator.















That would be my first step if you brought it to me.
