2005 Toyota Tundra gas gauge possible problem?

Default 2005 Toyota Tundra gas gauge possible problem?
When I got into my truck this morning it said that I needed to get gas and the gas light was on and everything. I filled up on Monday and I have only been 60 miles in town driving. At lunch, when I got in it the gauge jumped up to almost a full tank. Why does it do that? Does anyone else have the same thing happen to them? Also, it only does it to me, not my husband so he can't see what it is doing. Thanks in advance for the help.

if the gage is doing that it could be a faulty or bad sending unit. That's what floats in the gas tank and tells the gage where it is at level wise.
