Fortunately, none.































However, Toyota and GM have a partnership venture that currently manufactures the Toyota-engineered Pontiac Vibe (a rebadged Corolla Matrix) and has in the past manufactured other Corollas for GM, which has given the vehicles sundry names.































In 1984, Toyota needed experience in manufacturing in the U.S. and thought it best to have a U.S. partner in a limited venture. However, since then, Toyota has expressed interest in terminating the venture, but GM has opposed its discontinuance. After all, it provides GM with its one reliable vehicle, the Vibe.

They are not in any relation, but they share an engine, platform, and assembly plant for the Pontiac Vibe and Toyota Matrix. Just recently, Toyota passed GM in amount of vehicles sold, and amount of money made in vehicles.

Um, no. GM isn't even close to having any ownership in Toyota. GM can't even build cars in the US anymore so Toyota is taking over the "Built In America" standards. Which by the way Toyota is doing an excellent job of. I love my Toyota and I'll never buy from the so called "Big 3" again.

Not with Toyota, but they do have ownership with Isuzu.

A few people are mentioning a joint venture between Toyota and GM, which is New United Motor Manufacturing Inc. (NUMMI). It was a joint venture plant, however NUMMI now owns itself. It currently produces Toyota Corolla, Camry, and Pontiac Vibe.
