I have forever driven a stick shift and I was always taught to shift at 3,000 rpm's (the tachometer).































Couldn't help you with km/h since all cars' rpm's are a little different.

That would depend on if the car was a 4 cyl, 6cyl, or 8 cyl... would also depend on gear ratio and are you taking about a 3 speed, 4, 5 or 6 speed or auto?. To many unknowns here to give a good answer.

u don't go by speed bur by RPMs

Look at the tachometer.















The Tach goes from numbers 1-8, or 1-9, or 1000-8000.































That is RPM.















You should shift gears around 3000rpm, which is when automatic change gears.































If you want to race, then rev up near the redline and shift. Usually around 6000-7000rpm. Staying near the redline is bad for the engine.
