Default 2006 Corolla Mant required light came on with oil pitcher and it said low oil pressure. Cant get?
to dealship until Monday.

for safety check or have someone check the oil level in the car if its okay it might just need an oil change... you can also reset the light but its best to make sure the basics are okay

you did not say if oil change was due. we had an oil filter stop up and caused close to this pulled into a local oil change shop. changed oil&filter problem solved. hope this helps.

Usually the light comes on at every multiple of 5,000 miles. Not to worry. Check the oil level. If it looks good, reset the light. It tells you how in the manual (requires turning the key to the first click while holding down the trip meter button. It goes to 000000. Release and your odometer will read correctly again).

WHEN THE MAINT.LIGHT COMES ON IT IS ONLY A REMINDER THAT THE OIL CHANGE IS DUE.BUT WHEN THE OIL PITCHER INDICATOR COMES ON,THAT IS SOMETHING TO WORRY ABOUT.I RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT START THE ENGINE ANYMORE UNTIL YOU CAN HAVE YOUR SERVICE TECHNICIAN FIGURE OUT WHY THE LIGHT CAME ON.PEACE!

Check the level of your oil. The maintenance light will come















on when you are close to getting your oil changed, around















3,400 miles. When your oil and filter is changed, the Toyota















tech. will reset your maintenance light so it will come on in















another 3,400 miles.
