How do I put a 2001 Toyota Highlander in neutral when the battery is dead?!?
Yes you need the battery to put it in neutral unless you use the emergency shift, that's what I don't know how to do. The reason I need it in neutral is so we can push it out of the garage so we can jump it. So no, I can't jump it
there is a little button cover on the console beside the shifter remove the cover with a small flat screwdriver and underneath is a small button hold down the button and shift into neutral
