Default Does anyone own an 08 Toyota Tacoma crew cab? If so, what do you like or not like about it?
Tomorrow is my husbands 40th birthday and I'm going to surprise him with a new truck. I'm going back and forth between 2. The other is a Chevrolet Silverado. (the gas is whats stopping me) The toyota is a v6.

I am all about Toyota, but I will tell you that the Tacoma has a bouncier ride than the Silverado. It's a smaller truck, with tighter suspension, which is why it is a bouncy ride.

i have a 06 tacoma 4 door, and its the same engine and stuff as what your describing.















ITS A GREAT TRUCK, i love it.































ill explain why, the v6 is very strong and produces a lot of power, i towed a trailer down to florida with ease. Gets good mileage on the highway, about 24-26 mpg. The ride is just amazing, its so smooth its great.































For a technical aspect, the frame is based off the Land Cruiser Prado, basically the Lexus GX 470 frame, variants of the transmission on the tacoma are used on both lexus and toyota vehicles.































The interior is great minus the hard plastics, at first glance they look high quality.
