Default i have a2.8 li toyota hilux diesel .the top seal on the injector pump is leaking probab ly due to...
...low sulpher? fuels, would anyone know if i can get the seals replaced or is it a full recondition job .the ute is running great except for the leak.

don't know which toyota engine is a 2.8 (not the 3L, not the 5L, not the 1KZ), but anyway, if the injector pump top seal is leaking, it is loosing lubrication and compression ratio through it. I would take it to the lab, it is so easy to change that seal and is better to change it before it ruins your pump
