i got a rav4 1998 and i didn't change anything with it ever since i got it. can someone tell me is it possible to drift with auto and what do i need to add to make it drift and to improve my car's center balance, not making it flip in fast turns.
i doubt that its possible to do that ,the height of it is to great, even lowered it wouldn't do it,all drifting cars are low to the ground for a reason so they wont flip ,the rav 4 is not the vehicle for doing that in,good luck.
With and "Automatic" it will be hard, to drift in. You would need to lower the center of gravity. Lowering Springs/Coilovers Lots of tires. Wider tires. These vehicles are AWD or FWD which would make it hard to drift I would think.
With that engine and being a compact suv it would be stupid as you will go in circles and not even smoke tires or drift for that matter. You would need the 07 and up with V6 to have power but the suv will flip. R U Nuts!
I wouldn't. It's too top heavy and I doubt you would be able to lower it enough.
To emiller: You don't know what you're talking about. FWD and AWD cars CAN drift. I've drifted a little in my Corolla, unmodified. It has an automatic AND is FWD.
first your driving the biggist shitbox toyota ever made(they even regret that model)then you want to drift in a high veichle, not smart,so in order not to make you feel bad ill just oput down ,Hell no!!!!
