My white 2005 Tundra has about 20 spots (1/4 inch in diameter) that have bubbled up from underneath, and are now little rust spots.
the local toyota "specialist" claims my truck has been exposed to some type of environmental elements that have rusted my paint on the tundra. Can anyone tell me the truth about this strange rust problem. This is all over the entire body of the truck.
In some US states, Toyota has had real problems with Tacomas and rust, but I'm not sure about the Tundra. I wouldn't be surprised that Tundras are having the same problems. The design must be the same.
I have had a 2002 and 2005 Tundra, and currently own two 2007's. None of them have ever had paint problems. It does sound like you got some type of overspray on the vehicle( maybe it was parked somewhere where construction or repairs etc. were being done) and that has caused damage to the paint.
