should i try to fix my 95 camry or give up on it?

it needs about $1200 in repairs...just weird random things

~top motor mount

~distributor (broke down on highway)

~struts

~axl

~breaks

~oil leak

i LOVE this car but at this point think it may be a money pit. it has almost 195K miles on it; but i love it! (it's currently off the road).

car was due for inspection; i didn't have the money to fix it to pass, so i took it off the road. i'm having a hard time finding any used car worth the money.

the repairs are worth more than your car is...but hey if you like it that much and have money to waste then go for it.

you can fix it cheaper than 1200 your distributer should not have went out in full stride might just be the coil did you go through water everything else you can find at the junkyard in fair condition at a fracture of the price where are you located at

i would get another car. once you start haing problems, you will continue to have problems..its like a chain..it's not even worth putting all that money into it.

1200 now is cheaper than 36 months of car payments....some of those things can be fixed later. the distributor has to be fixed first,then the brakes,oil leak,axle,motor mounts and then struts. if you have changed the oil often then that motor will last a long time.those are great cars.

Lets face it 1200 dollars just does not buy much of a used car.

Even if you spent twice what the repairs on this one will cost, you might be back on the same boat before a year is out.

Fix it up!
