O/D off light in Toyota Echo?

Default O/D off light in Toyota Echo?
This morning, when I drove my 2000 Echo a couple blocks, everything was fine. But I had gotten out of the car and left it running, then when I got back in after 5 minutes or so, the O/D off light was on. I didn't turn it on or off or anything myself, it turned on on it's own. I've never seen it turn on in this car and I've been driving it since December 2008. Do I need to take the car in?















I forgot to mention (if needed) the car's an automatic, and also, if I hit it with my hand, where exactly IS the button at?

Nope...you probably hit it by accident. Just watch your hand movements from now on. If it happens again, and you are sure that you didn't touch it, it might be the cars computer trying to self correct a transmission problem!
