toyota makes a good motor if it is well maintained they can easily get 300,000miles! any overhead cam motor will last if it is well maintained. that doesnt mean just change the oil there r many other things cars need. u dont want to find out what it costs to fix a timing belt after it breaks!!! that y they need to be changed. or what a break caliper costs to replace thats y the fluid needs to be changed at least every 3 years. and trans and gear oil. look in the owners manual of any car and it will tell u how to maintain it. hope this helps.
