its best to do this when you car is cold, as in no hot engines. 1st open your gas cap to release the fuel system pressure or you will get a gasoline shower when you remove your old filter. Remove the clips from both leads of the filter. with a rag in your hands remove the fuel lines from the old filter, you will get some gas on your hands and on the rag. place your old filter in a pail or bucket. clean up any spilled gas in your engine compartment. place your new filter where you old filter was and connect the fuel lines as they were connected to your old filter. re apply the clamps to secure the fuel lines on the filter. re-place or tighten your gas cap. thats is it. now start it up.
