Whats the max miles a Toyota Echo can have?

I love my little echo, The ugly little beast, it gets btwn 35-39mpg. I was curious how long the little echos can push it, 200,000? 250?

I know toyotas can go pretty long.

I have good maintence.

There's no set amount of time any car can drive before it suddenly breaks down. It depends on how often it's driven, how hard you drive it, how well you maintain it etc.

The echo was a rushed-out design that only lasted for a couple of years and from what I understand was kind of crappy to begin with. However, Toyota has always put a lot of effort into ensuring their cars' longevity. I'd say if don't push it too hard, it could break 250 or 300k.

If you go to Toyota Nation.com, you will find that I posted a buddy of mine's 2001 Echo with over 400,000 trouble-free miles on it last year in the Toyoa Echo forum. I even posted pics (not photoshopped; they are real). He's a messenger and uses this car for his job. I haven't seen him in a couple of weeks but he is now at over 480,000 miles. By the way, Echos were never crappy. They just didn't sell as well as Toyota projected. The Echos replacement (the Yaris) sells a lot better and is the one with the quality problems.

Not an echo, but the 90 corolla I just retired has 260K on it, the engine still runs strong, but I'm in salt country and with the rust I didn't want to replace the clutch and other issues on a rust bucket, instead I picked up one 4 years newer and 100K less miles on it expecting to get many more miles out of it.

Whats the max miles a Toyota Echo can have?
