Yes, it would be weird. And obnoxious. Loud exhaust is supposed to imply little resistance when exiting the engine, meaning the engine doesn't have to work as hard to push out the exhaust. Typically, this is only beneficial (and cost effective!) when done on a tuned engine. If you put it on a stock engine, you're just being obnoxious, because it's really just being loud, and offers next to 0 performance benefit.
Save your money and get a turbo kit. Port polish your engine. Lengthen your camshafts, etc. But don't just put a coffee can exhaust on because it's "pretty cool".
It's like putting those stupid colorful beads in your bicycle tire spokes.
Just because it's loud, doesn't mean it's fast.
