Default 1994 to 1992 Toyota Camry LE engine exchange?

I was wondering if anyone would know if the engine in my daughters 1994 Toyota Camry LE (that she wrecked) would fit into a 1992 Toyota Camry LE that is for sale without a drive train? Both use the 5S?FE Engine. I'm hoping it would be a direct swap but even the dealer is hesitant to commit to the exchange. Any ideas? Thanks

Yes. In fact, the 5S-FE is interchangeable in any Camry from 1992-2001 because the chassis and drivetrain for those years are the same. Great motor by the way-it's easily the one of most (if not the most) reliable engine on the planet. The only difference is that the 1994 came with the R134 A/C and the 1992 has the R12 A/C.
