Default on 93 camry 6cyl i replaced my water pump thermostat why else would it be over heating?
i really dont think its a cracked head cause no white smoke maybe very little. I quess the real question is where is my coolant going to .

It's most likely a blown head gasket. Take it to a radiator shop and have them pressure test and dye check the cooling system

My guess is that your radiatior has crack you can't see bec we had 1993 CAMRY LE that we got rid of with 211,000 miles when my wife insisted on a 2005 HIGHLANDER 6 cylinder AWD SUV and I actually had to have my mechanic replace 2 radiators, though one came free of charge in terms of parts bec it didn't last full 12 month warranty.
