Default whats the most i can ask a dealer to take off a new 2008 toyota highlander?
i was wondering what is the most i can ask them to take off! i see them for 27,000, i have a trade in that i owe 8,000 left on and its proubley worth 6,000 and i dont want to put anything down.. im trying to get the best deal possible















also this place is offering 1.9% financing for 60 months, so i guess i cant go to a bank before cause i have to go thru there bank that does the 1.9%, am i right?

Go tell the salesman what you want, if he doesn't give it, walk away. They are so desperate right now, you might get what you want.

Go to carsdirect.com and find the price for the car you want. Then, take the printout to the dealer and tell him you want him to make a better offer. The carsdirect price, you can get from any dealer. Make him do better. Finally, make sure you get your financing BEFORE you go to the dealer by looking at lendingtree.com or a site like it. Dealers make a lot of money off your financing, and you never know about it.
