Default I want to install a Scion tC turbo kit nto my 2003 Toyota Camry, read details please.?
I know what your thinking, A turbo in a 4 door sedan or why turbo a family car? First off, the car was givin to me, my mom bought a Porsche and gave me her Camry . I just think its slow, I do have money to throw at it, so dont mention money. Would a Scion tC turbo kit fit in the Toyota Camry's engine bay, I know the manifold matches up. Thanks

wow, someone has silver spoons fed in their mouth. if mom can afford a porcshe why not just buy a Scion TC

It is the same engine so it should not be that difficult. And lest people laugh, may I point out that Nissan with the Maxima and BMW with their line of cars makes no apologies to performance family sedans. In fact BMW now turbos 3 and 5 series. Think about brake, wheel, and suspension upgrades also, from TRD Toyota Racing Development and maybe Bilstein shocks.

I'm not sure about the fit because I've never heard of anyone attempting it yet. I've been curious about it for sometime now myself. TRD makes a supercharger for the TC that might fit as well. Also, I agree with the last answer. VW's Passat 4 cylinder engine is turbocharged as well. If it can be done and you do it, let us know. What a way to make a great all around car faster

besides not fitting, suspension, brakes and crossmembers will have to be changed s it is not set up for a turbo. Why don't you just buy a Porsche since you are rich.
