Toyota Celica '94 key code?

I've really outdone myself. Not just have I managed to lose my car keys but also my spare key. Anyway the local locksmith said that if I can find the key code then I should be able to call him and get new keys made. I've got NRMA roadside assistence so I can get them to break into my car for me, but where would I find the key code so I can get a new key made?

The key code can either be obtained at your Toyota dealership or, if you are up to the challenge, by taking apart your driver's side door panel and looking on your lock cylinder.

If you aren't handy with tools and taking apart trim in your car, I'd suggest waiting until the morning and calling the parts department. They'll need a current registration and a picture ID matching the person on the registration. It's free to get the code.

I bought an 88 Toyota Corolla GTS out of the junkyard awhile back, and they didn' t have the keys for it. My boyfriend took the key cylinder out of the passenger side door, and we took it to a Toyota dealership. They made us a new key as we waited, and it only cost $7 (I don't have any kind of computer chips in my key, if you do it will probably cost more). I saw where someone else said the driver's side door, but when we looked up the information on how to get the code it said passenger door, and when we took it out it was on there. I would assume most Toyota's have it in the same place. Also be sure to bring your ID, and proof of ownership with you to the dealership.
